Welcome to educationZEN.

This blog is a place for synthesis—of insights, values, and futures.

The problem isn’t merely that some are rich and powerful. It’s that so many remain poor and powerless. Most things in life—and by extension, society—aren’t zero-sum. History has wired us to fixate on these zero-sums.

Solidarity, dignity, and opportunity aren't scarce—they're scalable. They're not to be hoarded, but grown, together.

We were promised leisure. We got precarity. But the future isn't cancelled—it's just waiting for us to imagine it differently. What if we centered abundance over scarcity? What if growth meant growing our capacity, deepening our knowledge, honing our skills, expanding our opportunities, strengthening our connections, and broadening our care—not just markets?

This is an invitation to think beyond collapse and into construction. To explore what a post-growth, FLOSS-based, democratically moderated, AI-assisted, deeply human society might look like.

As Yuval Noah Harari puts it: Sapiens is the only species that can think things into reality. That’s our real deus ex machina.
